FAIRLY STABLE HIGH PRESSURE THROUGH HOLIDAY WEEKEND

Fairly stable high pressure will remain in the Umpqua Valley throughout the holiday weekend.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that Roseburg should see a high in the low 90’s Friday, before dropping slightly to the upper 80s Saturday through Monday. Forecasters said some warming is expected to start Tuesday with highs getting back to the mid 90’s by the middle of the week.

Highs will remain above the normal temperature for this part of summer which is 84 degrees. The mercury reached 93 degrees on Thursday at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
