Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Tuesday night.

An RPD report said at 9:40 p.m. the 60-year-old from Cottage Groce was stopped for failure to obey a traffic control device in the 400 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. He was found to be in violation of his parole due to a no contact order for the passenger in the vehicle.

The man was detained without bail. He was cited for driving while suspended.
