Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation on Monday night.

An RPD report said shortly after 10:00 p.m. officers contacted the 40-year-old and a woman in the 1600 block of West Harvard Avenue. During the contact, it was discovered that the pair had a restraining order, with the woman being the protected person. The order was confirmed, and the man was taken into custody.

He was detained without bail and was released on Tuesday morning.
