Roseburg set a new record high temperature for the date on Saturday.

Data from the National Weather Service in Medford said the mercury reached 102 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The previous record high for August 23rd was 99 degrees, set in 1934.

Roseburg may be close to seeing another record high for the date on Sunday. The record for August 24th is 99 degrees, set in 2010. The forecast calls for a high of 96 degrees.
