Sutherlin Police jailed a man for alleged drugs and disorderly conduct on Monday.

An SPD report said just before 9:00 a.m. 42-year-old Andrew Atterbury was allegedly yelling and hitting walls at a residence in the 100 block of Myrtle Street, according to multiple callers.

Atterbury allegedly tried to get away and was ultimately taken to the ground and placed into custody. Foil containing suspected methamphetamine was reportedly found in his pocket. Atterbury was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, second-degree counts of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass, and for resisting arrest. He was detained without bail.
