Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a warrant on Friday.

An RPD report said at 4:00 p.m. officers contacted the 34-year-old in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street, knowing she had a warrant for her arrest. The woman was told she was under arrest and immediately took off on foot. She was captured a short distance away at which point she resisted.

The woman was taken away without further incident and was transported to corrections. Bail was set at $12,500.
