BACK TO SCHOOL BASHES HAPPENING AUGUST 16TH AND 21ST

Families across Douglas County are invited to kick off the school year at two Building Tomorrow Together – Back to School Bashes.

The events are hosted by Umpqua Health in partnership with Thrive Umpqua, Douglas Education Service District, Roseburg Public Schools and the South Umpqua School District.  They will take place:

*This Saturday, August 16th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Roseburg High School

*Next Thursday, August 21st from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at South Umpqua High School

The community celebrations will feature free food and haircuts, low-cost vaccines and sports physicals, school supply giveaways, live performances, community resources, school spirit and more. There will also be games, Thundering Water’s WOWTruck with a bike pump track along with a climbing wall and Arrow Tag.

Interactive booths from over 30 local organizations will be included along with clubs, sports teams, and student groups.
