A man missing from the Glendale area since Wednesday was located safe on Sunday.

An update from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said 39-year-old Owen Weese had been seen last Wednesday evening around 9:45 p.m. when he was dropped off near milepost 1 on Windy Creek Road, to look for his German Shorthair dog.

Sunday evening DCSO thanked searchers with Douglas County Search and Rescue, and its partners in Jackson, Josephine, Lake, Coos and Klamath counties, along with the Oregon State Search and Rescue Coordinator, who provided resources and assistance during the multi-day search.

No further details were released by DCSO.
