Roseburg Police jailed a man on drug charges on Thursday.
An RPD report said just before 4:30 p.m. officers contacted 51-year-old Jason Sell near the intersection of Northeast Rifle Range Road and Southeast Douglas Avenue. Sell was wanted by his parole officer for failing to report.
The man was reportedly found to be in possession of a pouch which contained 15.84 grams of suspected methamphetamine, which appeared to be packaged for sale. Sell was charged with unlawful possession, distribution and manufacture of meth, a parole violation, and tampering with physical evidence.
He was detained without bail.
