Roseburg Police cited a woman Wednesday afternoon following a prior hit and run incident.

An RPD report said the 80-year-old was a suspect in an ongoing investigation involving an incident that took place in the parking lot of a medical office in the 2900 block of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard. The woman was seen on security footage driving her sedan into another vehicle with considerable force and then leaving the scene.

She was contacted at her residence in the 1400 block of Northwest Troost Street at 3:30 p.m. where she admitted to driving the vehicle at the time of the collision. The woman was cited for failure to perform the duties of a driver and then was released.
