Sutherlin Police jailed a woman for fourth-degree assault and three counts of harassment on Tuesday evening.

An SPD report said at 7:10 p.m. the 54-year-old began with fighting with residents and employees at an assisted living facility in the 1100 block of West Central Avenue; The woman reportedly struck and knocked down one of the residents, causing the victim to hit her head on the ground, which left swelling. The suspect is a resident of the facility where the incident allegedly took place.

Bail was set at $13,750.
