Roseburg Police jailed a man for warrants and a parole violation on Tuesday morning.
An RPD report said at 6:00 a.m. officers stopped the 41-year-old for traffic violations in the 2500 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Officers learned the man had an active warrant for his arrest through Canyonville Justice Court. Officers also learned that the man’s license was revoked at the misdemeanor level. He was taken into custody without incident.
Upon searching the man, officers reportedly found over thirty grams of methamphetamine in his possession. He was transported to corrections. His vehicle was legally parked. Bail was set at $6,250. The man was also cited for driving uninsured, failure of a previous violator to file, and fail to renew registration.
