The 2025 Douglas County Fair is underway through Saturday.
Presented by Clint Newell Chevrolet, GMC, the fair provides a big variety of things to do, see and experience.
Wednesday is the Challenge of Champions bull riding event at 7:30 p.m. in the grandstands.
Music is featured on the Garden Park Stage throughout the day.
Rainer Amusements has the carnival, sponsored by Pacific Power. Hours are 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Friday the carnival stays open until 11:00 p.m. Saturday carnival hours are 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. An unlimited ride bracelet is not on sale for $45.
4-H and FFA activities take place all day with the main gate open at 7:00 a.m.
The Diaper Derby will be held at 5:45 p.m. in the Garden Park next to the Floral Building.
Commercial buildings open at 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday is Senior Day with seniors being admitted for free all-day courtesy of Premier Insurance Group. Kids aged 12 and under get in free all day, every day, thanks to the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians. Teens get $2 off admission with a canned food donation. Regular fair admission is $10 for adults. A week-long pass is $40.
Buses to the fair are free, thanks to Mercy Medical Center. Buses can be picked up at Roseburg High School or the First Student bus lot in Green. Parking at the fair is $10 per vehicle.
