HALF SHELL FEATURES VOICES OF CREATION TUESDAY NIGHT

August 5, 2025 3:30 a.m.

In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Music on the Half Shell will feature Jimetta Rose and the Voices of Creation on Tuesday night.

The soul and jazz choir were formed in 2019 with the intention of singing to heal themselves and others. Their dedication and hard work have birthed a new wave of music, community and expression.

The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Nichol’s Band Shell in Roseburg’s Stewart Park.

Food trucks and vendors will have a wide variety of dinner items including Chinese, burgers, tacos, hotdogs, kettle corn, ice cream, shave ice and more. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own meal, along with wine or beer.

Blankets and chairs can be put out ahead of time.

Half Shell concerts are free to the public, thanks to a long list of local businesses and individuals.
