UMPQUA VALLEY TO SEE MORE DRY WEATHER, WARMING TREND STARTS THURSDAY

The Umpqua Valley will see more dry weather, with a warming tend starting Thursday and the potential for triple digits by Sunday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that afternoon highs will remain around seasonal norms for the first part of the week. High start to ramp up on Thursday, increasing each day through early next week. Forecasters said it could hit 100 degrees on Sunday and the low 100’s next Monday.

Weekend high temperatures were 88 degrees on Saturday and 79 degrees on Sunday at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
