Roseburg Police detained a juvenile following an overnight incident early Thursday.

An RPD report said at 12:50 a.m. officers responded to several calls regarding a disturbance near the intersection of Northeast Klamath Avenue and Northeast Lincoln Street. They contacted a juvenile female who was clearly intoxicated. The 17-year-old stated that she was on probation with the Oregon Youth Authority.

Officers contacted Douglas County Juvenile Corrections, who authorized a detainer for a probation violation. Officers advised the female that she was under arrest, but she took off running. She was quickly caught and allegedly resisted arrest when officers attempted to detain her. The female reportedly kicked three officers and spat on one officer while being taken into custody.

The teen was lodged at Juvenile Corrections.
