Roseburg Police added 11 counts of violation of a no contact order, to the charges being faced by a man accused of recent sex crimes.

An RPD report said 26-year-old Iziah Alvarez allegedly contacted a family member by phone. He reportedly spoke to the protected person 9 times and sent her 2 messages, while in jail. Alvarez is currently prohibited from contacting the person due to an active no contact order.

Alvarez was already detained on first degree counts of rape and sex abuse, and two counts of sexual penetration with a foreign object from an incident that allegedly took place on July 24th. Alvarez remains detained on $50,000 bail.
