The South Umpqua School District continues its summer meal distribution through August 14th.

Meals are available Mondays through Thursdays at these locations and times:

*Stagecoach Apartments in Canyonville from 10:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

*South Umpqua High School from 11:35 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.

*Meadowlark Apartments in Myrtle Creek from 12:00 p.m. to 12:15 p.m.

*Myrtle Creek Elementary from 12:25 p.m. to 12:40 p.m.

*Millsite Park in Myrle Creek from 12:45 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

*Myrtle Terrace Apartments from 1:05 p.m. to 1:20 p.m.

Food is also available at Riddle Park from 11:10 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.

Each child receives a meal that meets or exceeds USDA Meal pattern requirements. They are available to children and teens ages 18 and under. Adults may not eat any part of a child’s meal. Look for the yellow Lunchbox Express summer food van at each distribution site.

The summer food program is part of USDA Food and Nutrition Service and is administered by the Oregon Department of Education Child Nutrition Programs. For more information, call 863-3115.
