Sutherlin Police jailed a man for an alleged menacing incident on Monday night.

An SPD report said at 10:00 p.m. 21-year-oldl Lopez Andresa Alvaro-Rufino was allegedly intoxicated and threatened a victim with a knife in the 800 block of South Comstock Road in Sutherlin. Alvaro-Lopez was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was detained without bail.
