Roseburg Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m.

An RPD report said the accident took place at the intersection of Northeast Stewart Parkway and Northeast Airport Road. After speaking to both drivers, it was determined that a 42-year-old from Utah ran the red light eastbound on Stewart Parkway while he was eating peanuts. The man was unable to provide proof of insurance during the investigation. He was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device and driving uninsured.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
