Music in the Park in Myrtle Creek continues its summer concert series on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Douglas County’s longest running free summer concert series is celebrating its 38th year.
Joe’s Garage Band will play classic rock hits from the 60’s and 70’s. The group includes Gary Perdigo on lead vocals, Joe Kurtz on guitar, Glennis Peterson on bass, and Mark Robertson on drums, and is guaranteed to rock!
Performances are being held at Mill Site Park with ample parking available. Attendees should bring their own chairs or blankets. Food vendors are both on site, and nearby. Dogs are allowed if kept under control and cleaned up after.
The series is coordinated by the Myrtle Creek-Tri City Area Chamber of Commerce and is 100 percent supported by donations, grants and gifts. Call 860-2037 for more information.
