ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN ON FIREARM, DISORDERLY CONDUCT CHARGES

Roseburg Police jailed a Jacksonville man following a disturbance on Friday night.

An RPD report said at 10:00 p.m. the 31`-year-old allegedly threw a firework into the roadway at a Graffiti Weekend gathering in the 1200 block of West Harvard Avenue. There were several hundred people nearby that became alarmed and a fight broke out, leading to someone pulling out a pistol to get the fight to stop.

The man was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and unlawful possession/concealment of a firearm. He was detained on $8,750 bail. The man was released on Saturday.
