Roseburg Police cited a man for drinking in public on Monday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 3:10 p.m. officers contacted the 56-year-old after several employees at WinCo Foods in the 2700 block of Northwest Parkway claimed the man had drunk multiple beers while shopping. The man admitted to drinking and said it was because he was stressed.

He was cited and released on scene.
