Roseburg Police jailed a man after a reported disturbance on Friday night.

An RPD report said at 9:30 p.m. officers responded after a disturbance was called in, at an apartment complex in the 100 block of Sunshine Road. The 22-year-old was reportedly heavily intoxicated and allegedly forced his away into an apartment where he confronted the victim.

The suspect reportedly tried to hit the victim but was unsuccessful and got taken to the ground. While fighting on the ground, the suspect allegedly grabbed at the victim and called him by racial slurs. The suspect was detained without further issue and then transported to corrections. Bail was set at $2,500.
