A Bend man was jailed following an alleged menacing incident at the Umpqua Hot Springs on Friday night.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 6:00 p.m. the 32-year-old was said to be disturbing the peace while soaking in the hot springs naked. The man got upset with a victim who was recording his inappropriate conduct. The man reportedly got out of the hot springs and chased the victim down a path while holding a knife. He was contacted later at the Lemolo #2 Forebay camp. The man allegedly lied about the altercation.
He was charged with menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct and was detained without bail.
