Roseburg Police cited a man for unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance early Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 3:15 a.m. officers contacted the 43-year-old slumped over in a sedan at Stewart Park in the 2000 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive. The man allegedly had foil with a small amount of the drug in his lap. He was taken into custody at which point he admitted the substance was fentanyl.

He was released after the citation was issued.
