WILDLIFE SAFARI INTRODUCES NEW GIRAFFE MUHIMU

May 27, 3:30 a.m.

Wildlife Safari has introduced Muhimu, a two-year-old male giraffe who recently arrived from Fresno, California.

A safari release said Muhimu is currently settling into his new home and is being gradually introduced to the rest of the giraffe herd, which includes Konza, Jact, Raza, Margie and Watson.

One of Wildlife Safari’s primary giraffe trainers, Liv Nicks-Turnley said, “Muhimu is a wonderful addition to our giraffe tower here at Safari. He’s our youngest, but full of spirit and curiosity. He’s been getting to know his new keepers through training sessions and lots of snacks, and is getting introduced to our other 5 giraffes, who are very excited about his arrival”.

Guests can now see Muhimu interacting with his fellow giraffes. The release said by welcoming him, Wildlife Safari continues its mission to inspire awareness and educate the public on the importance of these incredible animals.

Wildlife Safari is open 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. For more information about the non-profit game park, go to: www.wildlifesafari.net.
