Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant following a traffic stop on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at approximately 9:15 a.m. officers observed the 53-year-old get into a vehicle in the 700 block of Northeast Jackson Street. Officers were aware that the man had a valid warrant for his arrest. His vehicle was stopped in the 2000 block of Northeast Oswego Avenue and detained. The warrant was confirmed through records, and he was taken into custody. Bail was set at $7,500.
