MYRTLE CREEK MAN JAILED FOR WARRANT AFTER TRAFFIC INCIDENT

A Myrtle Creek man was jailed for a warrant after a traffic incident on Friday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said at 12:45 p.m. a large SUV was being towed and was impeding traffic near the intersection of Highway 99 and Dole Road in the Myrtle Creek area. A traffic stop was conducted, and the 49-year-old operator was recognized to have an arrest warrant for a wildlife offense. He was taken into custody and was detained on $10,000 bail.
