Elkton Community Education Center has its Mother’s Day Weekend Extravaganza happening Friday through Sunday.

The three-day celebration is filled with activities and opportunities for the whole family. Highlights of the weekend include:

*Plant sale and hanging baskets

*Bake sale to support ECEC’s Ellie Smart Community Library

*Electronics recycle drop-off to help declutter and recycle old electronics

*Gift shop with unique treasures from local artisans

*An art class, with pre-registration required

*Café open each day from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

*Rummage sale which is an ECEC fundraiser with community vendors

ECEC Co-Executive Director Deb Gritton said, “We’re excited to offer a diverse range of activities that celebrates mothers and brings communities together”.

Festivities will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
