Roseburg Police jailed a fugitive for a failure to appear warrant on Tuesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 4:45 p.m. an officer observed the 33-year-old drinking a beer near the intersection of Northwest Highland Street and Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The man returned with a warrant out of Jackson County. Once the warrant was confirmed, the man was transported to corrections. Bail was set at $2,500. He was also cited for drinking in public.
