A Roseburg woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon.

A Roseburg Police report said shortly after 3:00 p.m. officers responded to the wreck at the intersection of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard and Northeast Airport Road. After an investigation, it was determined that a sedan driven by a 78-year-old man had failed to yield to a pickup driven by a 49-year-old woman, resulting in the pickup crashing into the side of the sedan.

The pickup driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with complaints of pain. Both vehicles were towed from the crash scene.

The sedan driver was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. The pickup driver was cited for driving while suspended-violation and driving uninsured. Both were released after the citations were issued.
