Sutherlin Police jailed a fugitive for driving while suspended and for warrants, early Monday morning.

An SPD report said just after 2:00 a.m. the 20-year-old was stopped for driving a sedan at 90 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone on Interstate 5 northbound at Metz Hill. The man was found to be suspended at the misdemeanor level and had two warrants for his arrest. He was detained on $6,250 bail.
