Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported theft from a business on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 4:40 p.m. officers contacted 35-year-old Coco Bernhardt after a caller said the man had stolen a large propane tank cage worth $4,000 from a store in the 2200 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. Bernhardt admitted to taking the cage and was taken into custody without incident.

He was charged with two counts of first-degree theft, and second-degree criminal trespass and was detained without bail.
