Roseburg Police jailed a woman after an incident in Gaddis Park on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 3:20 p.m. 40-year-old Isis Garcia Lopez was contacted at the park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. She was at her campsite which was in an area that is always off limits for camping due to its proximity to the ballfields. Records advised there was a cite and release warrant out for her arrest.

Garcia Lopez was advised not to leave while the citations were being issued. She tried to walk away, so she was placed in handcuffs. Garcia Lopez allegedly spat on an officer during this time. She was placed in a patrol vehicle where she reportedly spat all over the inside of the window.

Garcia Lopez was transported to corrections. She was charged with two counts of aggravated harassment and third-degree criminal mischief and was detained without bail. Garcia Lopez was cited and released for the warrant and also for prohibited camping.
