Roseburg Police cited a bicyclist and a motorist following a crash on Wednesday afternoon.
An RPD report said just after 3:00 p.m. officers responded to the wreck at the intersection of Northeast Stephens Street and Northeast Alameda Street. Upon arrival, officers learned that a 53-year-old woman was riding her bicycle on the sidewalk and then the crosswalk, instead of the bike lane. A 77-year-old tried to turn right in her sports car, but did not ensure that the roadway was clear.
Neither woman was hurt. The bicyclist was cited for failure to use a bike lane, while the motorist was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. The sports car was driven from the scene.
