A Roseburg man was jailed following a warrant arrest on Wednesday morning.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 6:00 a.m. a deputy located a male acting suspicious as he walked away from the deputy in the 3000 block of Northeast Vine Street in Roseburg.
The man was the same height and build as Sean Brown, who the deputy knew had a warrant and lived in the area. Another deputy responded and observed the man run across Northeast Johnson Street and into a backyard in the 3000 block of Johnson. He eventually circled back, and units located him after he jumped several other fences in the neighborhood.
The man was identified as 26-year-old Sean Brown and was eventually taken into custody. Brown was medically cleared at CHI Mercy Medical Center due to a heroin ingestion admission. 8.9 grams of methamphetamine was allegedly located in his pocket during a pat down. His warrant was confirmed, and he was taken into custody.
Brown was detained on 10 charges including the warrant, 4 counts of second-degree criminal trespass, and a misdemeanor count of unlawful possession. He was detained on $6,250 bail.
The Roseburg Police Department assisted DCSO with the incident.
