A Myrtle Creek man was jailed following a reported disturbance on Wednesday.
A Douglas County Sherrif’s Office report said at 10:00 a.m. units were dispatched to the incident in the 300 block of Gael Lane in the Myrtle Creek area. The 31-year-old suspect and a victim were at a residence and the man was possibly armed with a handgun.
When deputies arrived, they learned that the two people had got into an argument over money while the victim was in the shower. The victim attempted to exit the shower and get into her robe when the suspect reportedly pulled her to the floor. The pair then fought over the robe and the suspect allegedly dragged the victim on the ground outside of the residence while she still was naked. The woman was uninjured from the incident but wanted to pursue charges against the man.
He was charged with harassment and was detained without bail.
