Roseburg Police charged a man with violation of a restraining order and third-degree theft following an incident early Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 4:00 a.m. officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of Southeast Jackson Street after a victim said the suspect violated a restraining order by staying at her apartment and stealing her security cameras.

The 50-year-old suspect was later taken into custody and admitted to being at the apartment and stealing the victim’s cameras. The man was detained on $5,000 bail.
