Roseburg Police jailed a woman on trespass and theft charges on Monday night.
An RPD report said at approximately 7:10 p.m. officers attempted to contact 35-year-old Natoni Cunningham after she was seen standing in the middle of the railroad tracks near the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. Cunningham reportedly ran from officers but was caught after a short distance and detained. The woman was also a suspect in a prior case regarding a theft from a store in the 4100 block of Northeast Stephens Street.
Cunningham was taken into custody without further incident. She was charged with third-degree counts of theft and escape and for first-degree criminal trespass. Cunningham was detained on $13,750 bail.
