The City of Roseburg’s first annual Easter Egg Drop will take place on Saturday April 19th, the morning before Easter.
Roseburg Parks and Recreation is teaming up with the Roseburg Fire Department to offer this free, family-friendly event at 9:00 a.m. at the Stewart Park softball field on Northwest Stewart Parkway.
Shortly after 9:00 a.m. Roseburg fire personnel will drop 4,000 colorful empty-plastic Easter eggs from a ladder truck located between the YMCA of Douglas County and Champion Car Wash Field.
Kids will be challenged to collect one egg of each color to exchange for a prize or candy provided by Roseburg Parks, Roseburg Fire, Roseburg Public Library, and local community partners such as the Boys & Girls Club of the Umpqua Valley, Cascade Community Credit Union, Umpqua Health Alliance and the YMCA.
