Roseburg Police charged a man with driving under the influence of intoxicants following an incident on Thursday night.

An RPD report said shortly before 9:00 p.m. the 41-year-old was called in as being passed out in the McDonalds drive through in the 500 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard.

An officer arrived on scene and contacted the driver. He showed signs of impairment and consented to standard field sobriety tests. The driver allegedly performed poorly on the tests and was taken into custody without incident. His vehicle was released to a sober driver.

The man was booked for DUII and was released at corrections.
