ONE HOSPITALIZED FOLLOWING THREE-VEHICLE ACCIDENT

One driver was hospitalized following a three-vehicle accident on Thursday.

A Roseburg Police report said shortly after 12:00 p.m. officers responded to the wreck in the 100 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard. An 18-year-old was operating a sedan and was traveling east on Garden Valley Boulevard. A 66-year-old was driving a pickup, and his vehicle was stopped in traffic. The first vehicle collided with the pickup then struck a third vehicle, which was driven by a 30-year-old.

All vehicles were able to be driven away. The second driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center via ambulance for apparent minor injuries. The driver who caused the accident was cited for following too closely.
