Roseburg Police jailed a man for a criminal count of prohibited camping early Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 1:10 a.m. the 59-year-old was found sleeping in a tent on the bike path in the 900 block of Northeast Rowe Street. Officers learned the man had two prior convictions for prohibited camping. He was taken into custody without incident for being in violation of the time, place and manner ordinance.,

The man was detained on $500 bail.
