Roseburg Police jailed a man for unauthorized use of a vehicle on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 11:00 a.m. a victim claimed the man had taken her SUV without permission from the 1700 block of Southeast Main Street and then crashed it. The suspect admitted that he did not have permission to take the vehicle.

He was taken into custody without incident and was detained without bail.
