WIND ADVISORY SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY MORNING

March 15, 2025 6:20 a.m.

A Wind Advisory is in effect from 5:00 p.m. Saturday through 8:00 a.m. Sunday for portions of central Douglas County.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said southwest winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour are expected.

The Advisory area includes portions of Highway 42, Interstate 5 south of Roseburg and portions of the Tiller-Trail Highway south of Tiller.

Forecasters said gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
