Roseburg Police jailed three people for an alleged trespass incident on Thursday afternoon.
An RPD report said at 5:45 p.m. officers responded to the railroad tracks near the 1700 block of Southeast Mill Street after a railroad employee said there was a vehicle parked next to the tracks, preventing trains from getting by. Officers arrested a 38-year-old man, a 60-year-old man, and a 65-year-old woman, all from Eugene, without incident.
The younger man was the driver and stated that he drove onto the railroad and down the tracks in his large SUV because he was looking for rocks. Everyone in the group was charged with first-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $6,250.
