JACKSON COUNTY MAN JAILED FOR PAROLE VIOLATION

A Jackson County man was jailed for a parole violation on Wednesday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 11:15 p.m. a deputy stopped a sedan for a traffic violation on Interstate Five northbound near the Curtin/Lorane exit. The 20-year-old driver was detained for failure to carry and present his driver’s license. He was eventually identified and returned for a misdemeanor count of driving while suspended and on parole.

The man was detained without bail.
