Roseburg Police charged a man for unlawfully being where children congregate on Monday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 4:30 p.m. the 40-year-old was contacted at a business in the 200 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard, after he allegedly went inside numerous times. His parole officer requested that he be detained for failure to abide by the conditions of his parole. The man is a level three sex offender.

He was detained for the charge and a parole violation. The man was detained on $5,000 bail.
