The Glendale Library on 3rd Street in Glendale will have a COL event on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Contact the library at 541-832-2360 for more information.
Celebration of Literacy’s signature event is Dive into Books at Wildlife Safari on Saturday. It will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Families can go to the Safari Village for free books. Activities will include a book walk, book exchange, crafts, face painting and more. Vehicles with Douglas County children will be able to go through the Safari drive-through for free. Winners of both the poster contest and the One County, One Book program will be on display near the Cheryl Ford Room.
